Consultant provides expertise in a specific area in which organisation needs to improve.

Coaches are experts in driving others to help themselves through work, life, performance challenges and changes; they aren’t in the business of providing therapy or advice-giving.

A mentor unlike coaches, do give advice based on their experiences. 
While coaching helps individuals gain insight into who they are and how to be more effective, mentors model and help individuals gain insight into the organisation, role or industry.

Consultants, coaches and mentors often complement each other and frequently collaborate.
